Your Own AI Assistant — A New Service from Anlek

anlek ai openclaw services

We run an AI assistant called OpenClaw. It handles our scheduling, sends messages on our behalf, controls smart home devices, does research, and even generates invoices. It runs on a 2015 MacBook Pro sitting in a closet.

We didn’t plan to offer this as a service. But after a few months of using it daily, the question shifted from “is this useful?” to “why doesn’t everyone have one?”

What it actually is

OpenClaw is open-source software that runs on your machine. Your data stays on your hardware. Nothing gets sent anywhere you didn’t choose.

Most setups connect to an AI API — Anthropic or OpenAI — and cost a few bucks a month in usage. If you’ve got a beefy machine with a good GPU, it can run fully local. Zero external dependencies. Your conversations, your files, your automations — all yours.

It’s not a chatbot on a website. It’s a personal assistant that lives on your computer and learns how you work.

What we’re offering

We’ll set it up for you. That’s it.

A free 30-minute call where we figure out what you need. Bring your own device or we’ll help you pick the right hardware. Then we install it, configure it for your workflow, and make sure you know how to use it.

The details are on our AI Assistant service page.

Why us

We’re not reselling someone else’s product. We use this thing every day to run Anlek Consulting. When something breaks, we fix it. When a new feature ships, we’re already testing it.

That’s the pitch. No magic, no hype. Just a useful tool and someone who knows how to set it up.
